Hi, I’m Kevin, a Scot currently living in exile in beautiful Budapest, Hungary. Welcome to my unoriginally titled blog space; honestly, I just couldn’t think of a catchy name for it.
Since the tail end of 2013 I’ve used this space to follow a passion of mine; writing about football and in particular my one true football love, Celtic FC.
I love pretty much every aspect of the beautiful game, from the match itself to football finance and governance, from fandom to stats and trivia; one day I’ll write about all of them.
A Bit More About Me
I hold an MSc in Sport Management from the University of Stirling and wrote my Master’s thesis on the demise of Rangers FC and the financial implications their liquidation would have on the rest of Scottish football; conclusion: there would be no armageddon, a solution to keep ‘Rangers’ in the League set-up would be found, life would go on.
I’ve been lucky enough to work in the game, albeit briefly, with the SFA and Livingston FC, and have also worked as a sports business consultant assisting over 100 Scottish sports business’ in one way or another. If you want to get in touch I’d be happy to see that number grow further.
Aside from writing here, I have also written for Celts Are Here and Just Football, and have been featured in Nemzeti Sport & M4 Sport (Hungary).
I’m a friendly sort and welcome emails at all times, please feel free to get in touch via the Contact Me page or via Twitter on @KevinMcCluskie1
I welcome feedback, comments, and debate on all my articles (positive and negative) so let the discussion begin!
